I don't claim to be a great poet, but occasionally I have taken thoughts that rambled through my mind, and tried to turn them into poetry.  Very few ever actually made it to paper, and fewer still were worthy of reading again.

So far, these are all my own.  Obviously, since there only three, the first one from over 30 years ago, I am not inspired all that often.   I may, at some time, add material from other sources -- I'll decide when the time comes. 

 

 

Written in 1972 for a close friend of mine, here is WORDS.

 

 

 

In 1982, while camping in the beautiful outdoors near Yellow Pine, Idaho, I put together FREEWAYS and SIGNS.

 

 

 

This next one actually is two -- One written by my father somtime prior to 1990, followed by my reply.   OLD COWBOYS and a REPLY.
