Personal Website for Rockwell Smith In November I had my main computer hard drive crash beyond recovery. While I had backed up most of my data, I had overlooked my e-mail. I lost all previous mail and addresses. There were some of you that were in my e-mail that I wish I could re-connect with. Please, e-mail me again so I can re-establish that connection. -- Thanks. I'd like to thank Nick Shultz and Micah Harding for helping me make this site possible. If you have any website needs, they can be contacted here. Content on this site, unless otherwise noted, is the property of the site owner, and may not be copied or used in any other form without permission (and I'm most likely to give permission -- just ask!) Linking to this site is encouraged. My older sister Heather, who has been an author for many years, has reluctantly been dragged into the computer and internet world little by little. She has finally been asked to post a blog.... and here it is. And, I have recently learned she has added yet another.... Click here for comments and updates. Personal note: While many of you reading my site are strangers, there are those of you that knew my family. If you are one of those, please see the update on the page I have posted in memory of Dad. Thank you.
Actually, that wasn't when I started in radio -- it is the earliest picture I've been able to locate. (I've found an older one.....it's here.) I graduated from college in 1969 from UPS in Tacoma, and that's a shot of me at my part-time gig at what was then KASY in Auburn, Washington. I started years earlier while still in high school in Salmon, Idaho in 1962.
